TCC Kingdom Youths

OUR MISSION

We believe God has called us, in his Kingdom to:

Embrace all the young people, from all different nations into the Kingdom of God by way of taking the gospel of the kingdom of GOD into all the world and to share the good news of Christ with every person (Mt 28:18–20; Lk 24:46–47). Our motivation as kingdom Youth Ministry begins with God’s command to evangelize the lost, which also includes the youths (Acts 2:39). Thus, Kingdom Youth Ministry is a practical feature of our kingdom desire to obey Christ as we participate in this kingdom facet of the Great Commission.
PREPARE the Kingdom youths and cultivate the soil of their hearts through sowing the seed of the true kingdom gospel. Knowledge is vital and makes the difference between success and failure. It is our expectation that the kingdom youths will be impacted with the knowledge of God’s Word which will afford them the privilege of having a successful Christian Life built on a right foundation
INSTRUCT them in the core doctrines and disciplines of the Kingdom of God along with principles for living healthy, wise and productive lives
INSPIRE them by our example and challenge them to be in charge and to dominate the earth.

IGNITE them with a passion for Jesus Christ, to be committed disciples and be Kingdom citizens who have a commitment to their local church, and finally, to launch them into the world prepared for life, for relationships, for Kingdom service, and for career and leadership responsibilities

Our vision is for every one of our Kingdom youth to be:

LED into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through teaching and empowerment.
CONSCIENTIZED that God loves them regardless of their background and that He has a good plan and purpose for their lives which is in his Kingdom.
PERSUADED that being a citizen in the Kingdom of GOD is the best opportunity one can ever have.
EQUIPED for the work of the kingdom/ ministry (Eph 4:11–16). This happens as pastor-teachers provide spiritual leadership and resources provoking people to grow in the kingdom knowledge.
ZEALOUS for Jesus Christ, for His Kingdom, for the needy, and for the lost, to be prepared for life, for relationships, for service, for career, for spiritual, economic and social leadership responsibilities.

In order to accomplish the “vision” God has given us, the “mission” will be guided by the following core values:

Time— we commit to investing in our Kingdom youths by spending both quality and quantity time with them.

Love— we commit to investing in our Kingdom youths by loving them unconditionally, cheerfully, and faithfully, and expressing that love in appropriate ways.

Prayer— we commit to investing in our Kingdom youths by praying for and with them faithfully.

Mentoring—we commit to investing in our Kingdom youth by mentoring them through their questions of faith and daily experiences in the Kingdom.

Teaching— we commit to instructing our youth in the core doctrines and teachings of the Kingdom of God in ways that creatively engage their hearts and minds.

Equipping— we commit to instructing our youth to equip them to grow spiritually, socially, economically and to lead healthy, wise, and productive lives.

Modeling— We commit that in order to inspire our youth, we must be passionate followers of Jesus Christ and consistently living healthy, wise, and productive lives.

Challenging—We commit that in order to inspire our youth, we must challenge them to live for Christ with all of their hearts and to join us in experiencing “KINGDOM LIFE” for Christ.

Mobilizing— we commit that in order to ignite our youth with a kingdom passion for Christ and others we must regularly create opportunities for them to worship, serve the Church, minister to the needy, and evangelize.

Launching—We commit that in order to ignite our Kingdom youth deeply and properly “launch” them into their future, we must prepare them for Kingdom service to God, life’s challenges, for healthy relationships, and for career , leadership and cooperate responsibilities in the Kingdom of God
