On November 24, 2024, The Community Church celebrated a Holy Communion Sunday service that brought the congregation together in reflection and worship. The service began at 9:30 AM at our beloved location on 323 Affirmative Way, at the corner of Willowvale Way and Highglen Rd. The atmosphere was filled with reverence as members gathered to participate in this sacred tradition.

Bishop Florence Chaurura led the service with grace and insight, focusing on the theme of Holy Communion. The theme verse, 1 Corinthians 11:24-26, was central to the day’s message, highlighting the significance of remembering Christ’s sacrifice through the breaking of bread and sharing of the cup. Bishop Chaurura articulated the importance of communion as a moment to reflect on our relationship with God and with one another, encouraging the congregation to approach this sacred act with open hearts.

The service featured uplifting worship music that set a tone of reverence and gratitude, inviting congregants to engage fully in praise. Moments of prayer allowed individuals to bring their thoughts and burdens before God, fostering a sense of community and support.

As the congregation partook in the elements of communion, they were reminded of the deep love and grace that Jesus offers to all. Overall, this Holy Communion Sunday service was a powerful reminder of the significance of Christ’s sacrifice and the unity it brings to The Community Church. The gathering reinforced our commitment to love and support one another as we journey together in faith.
