HOLY COMMUNION SUNDAY
On October 20, 2024, The Community Church celebrated a deeply meaningful Holy Communion Sunday that marked a special time of reflection and connection. The service commenced at 9:30 AM at our welcoming location on 323 Affirmative Way, at the corner of Willowvale Way and Highglen Rd. The congregation gathered in anticipation, ready to partake in this sacred tradition together.
Bishop Florence Chaurura led the service with grace and insight, focusing on the theme of Holy Communion. She drew inspiration from the theme verse, Matthew 26:26-28, which recounts the Last Supper and the establishment of this important sacrament. Her message emphasized the significance of communion as a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice and the covenant of grace that unites us as a community of believers.
The service featured heartfelt worship and moments of prayer, creating a atmosphere that invited introspection and gratitude. As congregants partook in the bread and cup, they were reminded of the profound love and redemption available to all through Jesus Christ. The Holy Communion Sunday was a powerful expression of faith, reinforcing our commitment to one another and to God as we shared in this sacred moment. Overall, it was a memorable gathering that deepened our sense of community and spiritual connection within The Community Church.
